COVID-19 Announcement

We are pleased to announce that The Sebastian - Vail is currently open and accepting reservations. As we welcome guests and staff back to our property, their wellbeing and safety is our greatest responsibility and priority. With that in mind, we have developed comprehensive sanitation and physical distancing protocols.  We will continue to adhere to the information recommended by government authorities and health organizations.

We have immediately implemented the following enhanced protocols across our property:

Front Desk and Lobby

  • Use of plexiglass shield between guest and staff
  • Staff will be required to wear a face mask
  • Increased cleaning frequency of the lobby with a dedicated attendant
  • Restroom cleaning and sanitation of all public areas will follow CDC recommended procedures and frequency
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided and visible
  • Residence keys disinfected prior to arrival

Cleaning and Housekeeping Protocols

  • Staff will be required to wear a face mask
  • Staff will not enter guest rooms or residences while occupied unless upon emergency
  • Use of hospital-grade disinfectant on all hard surfaces in guest rooms and public areas
  • Increased cleaning of high-touch public areas
  • Residence keys disinfected prior to arrival
  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer available throughout the resort and upon request
  • Appointment of a Hygiene Inspector at the property to help maintain all hygiene standards

Food and Beverage

  • Leonora is open for breakfast and dinner
  • Staff will be required to wear a face mask
  • In-house dining will be limiting its seating capacity. Advanced reservations are highly recommended. Our Concierge team is happy to assist in arranging any reservations. Reservations can also be made online through OpenTable.
  • Please note alcoholic beverage order must be accompanied by a food item from our menu
  • Increased cleaning frequency
  • Signage will be placed on the floor to assist guests with social distancing
  • QR codes will be utilized for menus so guests may use their personal device to view
  • Outdoor seating will be available on our Mountain View Terrace

Bloom Spa

  • Staff will be required to wear a face mask
  • Limited treatment menu available
  • Staff will assist with all spa retail testers
  • Sauna and Steam Room will be closed to adhere to social distancing

Public Areas (Pool and Fitness Center)

  • A pool attendant will clean and sanitize the chairs and tables after guest use
  • Pool chairs arranged to help with social distancing
  • Fitness equipment will be cleaned at a higher frequency
  • Sanitizing wipes will be available in the fitness center
  • Pool reservations may be required over holiday weekends

Guest Experience

  • Masks are mandatory in indoor public spaces per Eagle County mandate
  • Limits to be set on the number of people who can ride an elevator together, dine at our outlets, and utilize resort facilities

Hotel/Rental Cancellation Policy

Summer Cancellation Policy (April 18, 2021 - November 11, 2021)

  • For guests making new reservations for arrivals between April 18, 2021 - August 31, 2021, we will require a one night room and tax deposit at the time of booking.

Winter Cancellation Policy (November 14, 2020 - April 18, 2021; excluding Holidays)

  • For guests making new reservations for arrivals between November 14, 2020 - April 18, 2021, we will require a 10% deposit at the time of booking and remaining balance due 7 days prior to arrival.
