Fresh off a GRAMMY® win for her third studio album, this young, Miami-based vocalist appears in Vail for the first time. Last year she told NPR that she “never wanted to sound clean and pretty” and her husky style has earned her a pile of global acclaim, not to mention a slew of avid new fans following every performance.
It’s that time of year again. Springtime at Vail Mountain is soon upon us. Along with the bluebird days, warm temperatures, spectacular spring skiing and snowboarding, comes the biggest end-of-season bash in the Rocky Mountains, Spring Back to Vail, April 8-10. The season will end in style with some not-so-serious fun under the sun, including a free live concert, the infamous World Pond Skimming Championships, après after-dark parties, base area giveaways, and much more.
Speaking of energy, the sizzling, Colorado-based big band returns to Vail to light up the stage with favorites from the late, great bandleader. H2 Big Band is famous for nailing Basie’s distinctive swing style.

The red hot triple bill kicks off the 22nd Annual Vail Jazz Party, beginning with the current lineup of freshly fine-tuned Vail Jazz Workshop students (Vail Jazz All-Stars) –the nation’s top 12 teenage jazz musicians. Then comes the Quintet of former All-Stars who are no pros and finally the Vail Jazz Party House Band sextet comprised of individual stars the genre - Jo John Clayton, Jeff Clayton, Lewis Nash, Terell Stafford, Bill Cunliffe, and Wycliffe Gordon.
Welcome to Pink Vail™, the world's biggest ski day to conquer cancer!
Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way. People run, walk and grow facial hair for cancer. In Vail, we ski! Pink Vail is a fundraiser that brings nearly 3,000 people, dressed in pink, together on Vail Mountain for an all-day event with live music, deck parties, costume contest and Celebration Ski Down. All proceeds from Pink Vail stay local, benefiting cancer patients and survivors at Shaw Regional Cancer Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3).

The Annual Vail King of the Mountain Open is one of the top five iconic grassroots beach doubles Events in North America, drawing upwards of 700 teams of competitors from all over the Rocky Mountain Region and elsewhere. Held over Father’s Day Weekend, the “King of the Mountain Open” has become a fantastic family volleyball outing with competitions for Juniors, Adults, Co-Ed, Masters/Seniors and, even, special Father/Son and Father/Daughter divisions to help celebrate Father’s Day.
A true summer celebration featuring exceptional entertainment including Vail’s celebrated 4th of July parade and fireworks, complemented by all that Vail summer has to offer on and off the mountain.
The parade will begin at Golden Peak at 10 AM on July 4 and will wind its way through the villages, ending in Lionshead. Vail’s parade is one of the most popular events during the Independence Day holiday. This year's parade theme is America's Great Outdoors!
Vail bluegrass is set in the scenic Lionshead Village, nestled among world-class shopping, dining and lodging, alongside the magnificent Gore Creek in Vail, Colorado.
