Food, Wine, Timbers and The James Beard Foundation

As we said in an earlier post:


Food matters. You are what you eat not only because food is nutrition, but also because food is an integral part of our everyday lives. Food is economics, politics, entertainment, culture, fashion, passion, family…and nourishment. New York City’s James Beard Foundation is at the center of America’s culinary community, dedicated to exploring the way food enriches our lives.

Timbers Resorts had the opportunity to partner with the James Beard Foundation to present A Taste of Timbers Resorts with a trio of chefs, Sergio Howland and Flynt Payne from Vail’s innovative new restaurant Block 16 at The Sebastian – Vail, and Ezra Duker from the Truffle Pig at One Steamboat Place.  And the feedback was incredible.  We received this letter from Izabela Wojcik, the Director of House Programming for the James Beard House:
