Year-round, Vail attracts attention with its sports, artistic, musical, culinary, theatrical, film and other events and festivals.  Winter and spring bring world class skiing and international ski and snowboard races, plus outdoor concerts and cultural events in every season.  Winter highlights include the men’s World Cup ski races at and Vail Snow Daze in December, CarniVail on Bridge Street during Mardi Gras and, Vail's newest world-class tradition, The Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships at the end of February. Throughout winter are numerous events, including the free Street Beat Concert Series.  Spring Back to Vail offers live music galore, while The Vail Film Festival and A Taste of Vail close out the spring. Summertime offers numerous events, celebrations and family activities. Starting with the thrilling Teva Mountain Games in June followed by Bravo Vail Valley Music Festival in July, the season-long Vail International Dance Festival and Bud Light Hot Summer Nights free concert series, and Vail Restaurant Month in the fall, the opportunities are endless for entertainment that appeals to all ages and interests.
